Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Kenya’s vibrant capital is known as the safari gateway to East Africa and offers a unique blend of modern city life and wildlife experiences. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or enjoy an optional visit to attractions such as the Giraffe Centre or David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
After breakfast, depart Nairobi and journey south toward the spectacular Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park where you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and many other animals. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Spend the day exploring the incredible landscapes of Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. The park is renowned for its open plains, swamps, and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, providing excellent opportunities for wildlife photography. You may encounter large elephant families, buffalo, wildebeest, hyenas, and a wide variety of birdlife. Between game drives, relax at your lodge while enjoying the serene surroundings of the African wilderness.
Another exciting day awaits in Amboseli National Park with additional game drives to discover more of the park’s rich wildlife and unique habitats. Early morning drives offer the best chances to see predators in action and capture stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro as the sun rises over the plains.
