Your safari begins with a morning transfer to Wilson Airport in Nairobi for a scheduled flight to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The scenic flight takes about 45–60 minutes, offering beautiful aerial views of the Great Rift Valley and rolling plains. Upon arrival at the airstrip in the Mara, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to your camp or lodge with a game drive en route. After lunch and some relaxation, head out for an afternoon game drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and possibly cheetahs or leopards. Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Enjoy another full day in the Mara with flexibility to explore different sections of the reserve. Early morning game drives offer the best chance to witness predators in action and capture stunning sunrise photography. You may choose to return to camp for lunch and relaxation or spend the entire day in the field with picnic lunches. Optional activities such as a hot air balloon safari at sunrise or a cultural visit to a local Maasai village can also be arranged at an additional cost. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.
